Jay County 20/20 Vision Moving Forward Jay County 20/20 Vision has moved into the implementation phase of the project. After nearly one year in developing a county-wide strategic roadmap, a committee is taking steps to coordinate implementation of the 20/20 vision. The 10-year Jay County 20/20 vision involved 210 Jay County residents who were asked to look into the future and create the “ideal Jay County.” The 20/20 report was issued in April and includes visions for four key areas: 1) economic development; 2) education; 3) health, wellness, and recreation, and 4) quality of life. The 20/20 implementation committee began meeting in late April. Doug Inman and John Moore are serving as co-chairs. Other committee members include Bill Bradley, Virginia Burkey, Terry Fennig, Cory Harris, Amy Huffman, Jack Houck, Mike Nixon, Dottie Quakenbush, Eric Reynolds, Emily Goodrich Roberts, Eric Rogers, Jane Ann Runyon, and Vicki Tague. The group has identified 15 task forces to coordinate implementation of the goals and strategies of the vision. Jay County community members are encouraged to become involved with the work of the individual task forces. Health, Wellness, and Recreation Report Quality of Life Report
