Re: Upcoming Meeting January 5

In this Xmas week, I send my warmest holiday wishes to all of my good friends in Jay County. It has been a pleasure working with you in 2009 and I look forward to continuing to work with you in 2010!
It is hard to believe but we are in the home stretch of this process. On January 5, each of the work teams will be reporting out to the entire stakeholder group on their work to date. This includes the mini‐vision, goals (or priority issues) and strategies. I know a few work teams have gotten as far as action steps. Be sure that your team has their PowerPoint slides in to Doug Inman by close of business Monday, January 4 so that copies can be made for the meeting. Remember that our January 5 meeting will be at Trinity Church.
I continue to be impressed with your dedication, sophistication and creativity. Your ability to come together and focus on the tasks at hand is truly inspiring. Fifteen years from now, people will look around and see the results of your work and some will wonder where it all started. You will know that it all started with your participation, ideas and teamwork. You are creating a new definition for a county‐wide community.
